I started teaching 3rd grade in January 2003 and haven't left. I really enjoy teaching third graders and feel blessed to have been able to stay in one grade. Staying in the same grade means I challenge myself every year to be a better teacher.
I love keeping my students engaged with lessons that keep their interest and cover the standards at the same time. My favorite time of a lesson is to hear a child say "That was fun!"
