I created these affirmations in an effort to connect with young children, and instill positive life lessons in them while enforcing classroom rules and boundaries. The meditative sounds help calm or ground them when they are getting antsy, loud, or out of control in the classroom and positive affirmations are a nice compliment to make them feel good about themselves while the teacher discretely enforces classroom rules on listening and being nice to classroom friends or teachers. This requires MLA citation in instruction. Includes a paragraph about what a thesis is!

Teaching style

I create a warm, positive, supportive, friendly, compassionate environment for children and young adults to learn in so they feel comfortable to express themselves and process high level thoughts on global social issues in class discussion and their writing. I let my students know I care about them as individuals just as much as I care about them as students.
