I’ve been an educator since 2006, bringing 16 years of experience as a high school English teacher into the world of Computer Science. This unique background allows me to bridge the gap between complex technical concepts and accessible, literacy-rich instruction.

Teaching style
Hands-On, Scaffolding-Focused Learning
In my CS classroom, students learn by doing. I prioritize interactive coding projects, virtual machine labs, and Digital Breakouts to build problem-solving resilience.
Too many CS materials rely on passive slides or assume prior knowledge that students (and teachers) might not have. By applying my expertise in instructional supervision and pedagogy, I create dynamic, hands-on lessons that encourage exploration while providing the structured "Guided Notes" students need to retain complex information. I aim to help students navigate technical hurdles without getting lost in the jargon.
