Experience

I have experience teaching grades 3-7 but middle school math is definitely my favorite. I also have experience with special education and gifted enrichment.

Teaching style

My teaching style is fun, interactive, and hands-on. I love using math workshop and guided math to reach all learners. I promote a positive learning environment while encouraging students to actively engage in their learning. My class will often be found singing, dancing, and laughing while we learn. I am a firm believer in growth mindset. With the right attitude, anyone can be successful!

My own education history

I have a bachelor's degree in elementary education with a concentration in 7-12 mathematics. I also have a master's degree in education. I thoroughly believe in being a life-long learner.
