Teaching style

I believe in hands-on learning and integrating other subjects into music so students can see how everything connects. I believe in adapting to the needs of special learners and using technology and visuals to enhance learning.

I have a Bachelors of Music Education degree from Union University in Jackson, TN and a Masters of Music in Choral Conducting from the University of Mississippi.

Additional biographical information

I am a mom of 2 and have 5 cats! This year, I am teaching 2nd and 3rd grade music. I am originally from St. Louis, Missouri and happily reside currently in the DeSoto County area of Mississippi. I have a successful Etsy shop that I love pouring creativity into in my spare time. I am also a published illustrator and author. My recent book, "Louie Leaves a Legacy" is now available on Amazon in paperback and kindle.
