Experience
I have been a middle school Spanish teacher for most of my working life, but I have also been given the opportunity to teach middle school math, science and social studies. My school is an International Baccalaureate school which I have been a part of since the doors opened.
Teaching style
I like to incorporate all learning styles into my classroom. We never spend more than 30 minutes on any given activity, but take breaks to move and speak.
My own education history
Bachelor's degree in Multidisciplinary learning - which, according to the state of TN, means I can teach literally anything to just about anyone. My minor was Spanish.
Additional biographical information
I am a mom of two amazing children, both quite grown. My daughter is a high school math teacher and my son is in high school. Then, SURPRISE, we have another son who was just born in April. Therefore, my classroom teaching time may have to be put on pause for a while.
