I made these because I could not find any free shape cutting practice. My young fives need practice with both fine motor skills and 2D shape recognition. This should help with both!
These cards were created to help inspire young elementary students to write. Each card has a different picture in which the child should be able to relate to. There are 32 cards in this document. Print them out on cardstock and laminate. I hope this is useful!
*Encourages young children to write the sound they hear in words
*Helps children to build confidence in their phonetic spelling
*6 pictures per page- each with 3 boxes for letters
*2 pages for each of the 5 vowels
*10 pages total
*Use with a small group or laminate and put in your "working with words" area with dry-erase markers
I hope you enjoy this document and share it with colleagues and friends!

This document includes 350 brightly colored CVC cards which include both real and nonsense words. These cards can be used in small groups for blending practice or as a center. Pages 37-42 include activities in which children are able to sort words by their beginning and middle sound as well as sort real and nonsense words. I hope you and your kiddos find this to be helpful!
