About the store

Experience

I have been a second grade teacher for 4 years in Tennessee I have loved every second and loved learning from all different types of teachers.

Teaching style

I am a firm believer in the science of reading. I also believe in learning through engagement and games. Most of the activities that you will see in my store for students are based in high engagement for optimal learning. I am also a firm believe in parent involvement in the classroom, so I have also provided multiple resources to assist in this area.

Awards & shining teacher moments

I have been awarded with the University of Florida's Dual Certification Student of the Year and I have been a TOTY nominee in my first two years of teaching.

My own education history

I completed my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and graduate degree in Special Education both from the University of Florida (Go Gators!). My Master's program allowed me to be specially trained in UFLI Foundations from the University of Florida's Literacy Institute. Here, I have developed a great knowledge base in their program and the Science of Reading.
