I have taught 5th, 1st and K. I had a great time in fifth but I love my primary kiddos!!! I have been teaching K/1 since 2004.
I am a workshop style teacher who looks to develop and find creative ways to differentiate my instruction. I love using cooperative learning games and Kagan Structures in my classroom. My room is usually very LOUD and BUSY with children laughing and learning. I sometimes call it organized chaos! I get so excited to see the kiddos highly engaged and driving their own desire to learn.
The honor I get is EVERYDAY when my kiddos walk out of my classroom not wanting to leave. Or when the Reading bell goes off (which means its time to put their books away and move to centers) and a HUGE sigh comes over the room from my students who don't want to put their books away.

I have four beautiful children of my own and really enjoy spending time with them and the rest of my family. I also spend a lot of time creating and developing tools to enrich the instruction in my classroom. I hope that you can use them also.
