Hi, I’m Lindsay! I’ve been teaching preschool since 2017 and absolutely love working with little learners ages 2½–5. Experience
Hi, I’m Lindsay! I’ve been teaching preschool since 2017 and absolutely love working with little learners ages 2½–5. My favorite thing is watching them grow more confident and “kinder ready” through play and exploration. Outside the classroom, I’m also a children’s book author—my ABC Discovery series on Amazon has a book for every letter of the alphabet! Creating both resources and stories that spark curiosity is what makes me happiest.
Teaching style
My teaching style is all about hands-on fun! I’m big on sensory play, science experiments, and child-led learning that keeps kids engaged. I usually teach with weekly themes, but if my students get excited about something else, we run with it! Everything I create—whether it’s alphabet activities, phonics games, or printable worksheets—is designed to make learning playful for kids and easier for teachers.
Awards & shining teacher moments
For me, the biggest “award” is seeing my preschoolers head off to kindergarten excited, confident, and ready to shine. Publishing my own children’s books has also been such a special accomplishment—it’s been amazing to bring stories and classroom experience together. But what truly warms my heart is hearing from parents who are blown away by how much their child learns and grows. Their gratitude and excitement remind me why I love teaching (and creating) so much.
Additional biographical information
Outside of teaching, I’m a bit of a creative whirlwind—I love coffee-fueled brainstorming sessions, turning everyday ideas into playful classroom resources, and sketching out new stories for kids. My favorite projects usually start at the intersection of curiosity and creativity, whether it’s building a sensory bin or drafting another children’s book.
When I’m not teaching or writing, I’m spending time with my family, enjoying the outdoors, or hunting down my next classroom science experiment. Everything I make for TpT comes from that mix of teacher, author, and playful spirit.
