Making Readers

If we can use flashcards for students to learn their math facts, why can't we use them to help students learn their vowel teams? This resource is colorful and fun way for students to practice their vowel team sound so that they can recognize them in words to strengthen their decoding ability.

This wonderful book is perfect to practice the skill of summarizing using the SWBST strategy. SWBST (Somebody, Wanted, But, So, Then) helps students choose the important information from the text when they summarize.

Do your students struggle to determine which letter is B and which letter is D? Use this resource on your Google Classroom to help them practice determining which letter is which. There is a slide with only the B and D letters and there is also a slide with words that contain the letters B and D.

Students like to know when they are being taken out of the classroom. I use these tags for putting on the desks of students that are pulled for Tier 3 intervention so they know when I am coming to get them.
