February number talks are specifically aligned to CCSS for third grade. Each standard has been touched SLIGHTLY to prepare your students for state testing soon. Since testing starts before you've taught everything in the standards, this is a great way to offer exposure to parts of your curriculum that maybe you haven't taught yet.
