About the store
I student taught for an entire year in a Kindergarten classroom. It was amazing to see what their brains absorbed throughout the year. They essentially came into the school year knowing basic shapes, letters, and numbers. Now, they can read stories, form addition/subtraction sentences, and much more. I am experienced with Eureka Math and CKLA - Amplify. I was so thankful for scripted curriculum during my student teaching experience. It was coinveinet to have the plans already available, but it was pleasing to put my own touch on each lesson. It is truly just an outline for you to follow. The 2020-2021 school year will be my first year to teach! I can not wait to learn everything my first year has to teach me! I hope you are able to find something you could use in my shop! If you have any questions, please message me. I will get back to you as soon as I possibly can. Also, I am not afraid of special request? Have an activity, worksheet, etc. in mind but don't want to make it? Message me! I'd love to help!! Thank you everyone! God bless.

Teaching style

I am a fan of a hands-on and cooperative student learning approach. I have found that students learn best when they are able to use different learning modalities and multiple intelligences. It is very eye-opening how much students can teach each other just by asking a question or making a comment. I try to cater to each of my student's different learning styles as best as I can.

My own education history

I graduated from Union University in Jackson, Tennessee in May of 2020. I have a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I am certified K-5. Hoping to add a masters degree soon!

Additional biographical information

I am from a small town in West Tennessee. I met my husband at the college I attended my freshman year. We got married my senior year, the weekend after I graduated. He decided to further his education, and is currently attending school in Chicago, IL. In June of 2020, I moved to the big city to join him. A small town girl is now taking on the big city.
