About the store
Hi! I'm Andre, the creator of Mister Math resources. I am a passionate educator and over the past 9 years, I have taught 6th, 7th and 8th grade math in both general and special education settings. One thing I found quickly was that students did not respond well if trying to learn directly from the textbook. Growing frustrated with the textbook and lack of supplemental materials, I decided to start creating my own PowerPoint lessons, as well as guided notes packets to correspond with each lesson. Student interest began to rise, and engagement soared! Students were now involved in guided note-taking to keep them organized, and also had opportunities to come up to the board to interact with the PowerPoint lesson. I also began to create fun activities to go along with the lessons that were not provided by any curriculum I encountered. Students especially love every time they have an opportunity to complete one of my scavenger hunts, since they get to move about the room while practicing the topic at hand!
I hope that my resources are just as valuable to your students as they have been for mine! My goal is to provide you with the highest quality math resources to keep your students engaged and challenged, and of course to save you, the busy teacher, time!
