I currently teach at Roseland Elementary in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana. I teach primarily Reading and Reading Intervention. I have 10 years experience teaching and I absolutely love it! Teaching style

I truly believe that all students can learn, and if they are not learning, you are not presenting it to them in a way that they can understand. I believe the personal relationship you build with a student is also key to success- you are their cheerleader and motivator. I think teachers need to keep themselves in their students' shoes and wonder "Would I want to sit and do this?" Teachers must be entertainers, counselors, mentors, and must show enthusiasm in all they do if they expect the students to perform.

I have wanted to be a teacher since the day I can remember. I enjoy each and every day and consider it a privilege.
