This is a list of activities for AVID students who do not feel that they are struggling in any class and do not know what to write a Tutorial Request Form (TRF) about that week.

Students will answer questions about Mexico's Independence Day and show their knowledge about the celebration using a provided word bank.

This is a list of college-related terms and definitions.

This activity includes the directions and approximately 25 different characters for a Murder Mystery Party that lasts between 30-45 minutes.

Students will compare and contrast 2 Colleges/ Universities using several graphic organizers, such as the Venn diagram, Spider Diagram, T-Chart, etc.

Includes descriptions of what is expected from both Tutors and Participants during Tutorials. Also, includes a checklist chart for the tutors to use during the process.

Students will answer questions about the program, Extra, and write using their knowledge of the program with access to a word bank.

Students will work in groups to research various ways to pay for college and then present them to the class.

Students will engage in the writing process as they answer the topic of Passion vs. Practicality. This will help build their writing skills as they encounter college entrance writing prompts in the future.

Students will answer various questions about how birthdays are celebrated in the Spanish speaking world and about the celebration of Quinceañera. They will also be provided with a Word Bank.

Students will choose whether the following goals are S.M.A.R.T. or not.

Students will research a college/ university and then use that information to decorate a tissue box to give to a teacher in order to spread the college message and provide much needed tissues in the classrooms.
