Experience
I've taught for 12 years and have taught everything from Pre-K (just one summer) to High School Math. My love is 4th grade though, which I've taught for 7 years and am currently teaching.
Teaching style
I'm definitely an always changing, think outside the box kind of teacher. I like to follow a routine in my classroom but I'm still a little crazy and unpredictable. I focus on teaching kids not curriculum and building relationships with my students is my priority. I love learning and growing and I'm always looking for and creating respectful tasks for my students.
My own education history
I have a Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a Specialization in Elementary Education from the University of West Florida.
Additional biographical information
I'm not only a teacher, but also a Mom of 8 ranging from three to 15. I feel like that gives me experience in a range of skills and also the progression children need to follow to be successful.
