This is a wonderful project to sum up the Personal Identification unit. *This project is for beginners in the Italian language. In this project, students will interview each other. The rough draft and final draft paper [last page] are included. You can modify this to your needs. The final draft should be a beautiful magazine with various images to brin
Let students create their own Italian math problems! Students' prior knowledge should be in Italian numbers and math terms. After presenting students with examples, students can be given this worksheet to practice. Students can work in pairs. Student 1 will write their numerical math problems on the little lines (2+2). Student 2 will write the numerical problems in Italian words on the bigger lines. Student 1 will grade the assignment and write their score in the box at the bottom of the page.
This is a 3 step activity that requires some pre-teaching on hair and giving advice to friends. Students are asked to first read the advertisements on hair and underline words they know, answer the questions about the ads, and then give advice to a friend based on the knowledge they acquired from the ads.
Need your beginners to review? Here is your savior! This worksheet does a great job of helping students review for the personal identification unit. It covers pleasantries, numbers, birthdays, days of the week, months of the year, and questions and answers as well as "I like" and "I don't like" in Italian. This can be given for homework and then turned into a game during class time. My students enjoyed the competition the next day, and I am sure yours will too!
This is an excellent tool for feedback. Students can check off what they know and don't know as a do now or end of day task. This will help teachers prepare lessons that are addressing what students don't know how to do on their own.
This worksheet has a few great sentence starters to help students remember and use while they are giving advice in Italian. I found my students used this time and time again whenever they were asked to give advice to others.
Math in Italian class? Yes. This worksheet is designed for students who are beginners. Teaching Italian numbers and math is essential before assigning this homework worksheet. This homework sheet is engaging, and your math-loving students will enjoy it!
