Not So Wimpy Teacher

We are dedicated to supporting 2nd to 5th-grade educators with comprehensive, standards-based resources designed to simplify teaching, engage students, and encourage student mastery. As for me, I started as a substitute teacher over two decades ago. I loved getting to spend time with students in grades K-6 and it ignited a passion in me that led to getting my teaching credentials. My first teaching certificate was in Secondary Government. I loved the content and the independence of high school students. I later received my elementary certificate. After a short time in second grade, I found my home in third grade. I absolutely fell in love with the age group and the content. I had a huge interest in curriculum and, as I saw a lack in both quality and simplicity in the resources available to me, I started creating my own resources in 2013. When I experienced notable changes in my students, I decided to start making my resources available to other teachers and Not So Wimpy Teacher was born! Over the past 11 years, I have worked with my growing team to create full lines of well-researched, teacher-tested, student-approved curricula and there's plenty more to come!
