One Million and One

Welcome to my store! With a background as a Preschool Teacher and School Director, I’ve spent many years working with children ages 2 to 5 and their families. I’m also a graphic designer and artist, with experience in the comic book industry and as a freelance artist. I’m also the author of A Parent’s Guide to the PRESCHOOL Process, a helpful resource for parents starting their preschool journey.

A love for learning is extremely contagious. Teachers create a learning environment that facilitates and encourages that love of learning. All teachers should have proper support from their administration and co-workers. School should be a community and team effort for the benefit of the students. "Pride of Accomplishment" is my favorite saying...I love when children are proud of what they have done!

My name is Erin and I have worked in Early Education since 2007 as a Teacher and a School Director. I am a single Mom to four incredible children (young adults now). I have three daughters and one son. It is easy to say that children are a very important part of my life. I am blessed to have the assistance of my daugters with the One Million and One Team. My oldest daughter Emily is a creative and talented Video editor, My daughter Caroline is an English major and she is a gifted writer and dilligent editor and proofreader. Both Emily and Caroline have been Teachers assistants as well. My youngest child is an extremely talented Graphic Designer and computer genius. All three have great product knowledge, artistic talents and know-how, especially with the social media aspects. Together we make an incredible team! I went to college and majored in Commercial Art and Communications. While I loved being a graphic designer it ultimately did not end up being my career, however, it has influenced my creativity. After having my children I decided to pursue the world of Early Education. I went back to school to get my credentials and taught Preschool for several years. I continued my credentials to become the School Director. There are many aspects of my life that have influenced who I am today, such as working in a Preschool while raising my four children as a single Mom. Practicality steps in and takes charge. Mainstreaming life and balancing a career becomes a necessity. I like to make lists, usually with what seems like One Million and One things to do every day, hence the name. What I like more, is being able to check those items off my list! We all need to find ways to take those One Million and One items on our list and make them manageable. I also believe there are One Million and One ways and solutions that can be as different as we are. I believe that I have a unique perspective on the projects that I create, having been a School Director, a Teacher and a Mom. My projects vary from Assessment forms to lesson plans and even Artwork. It is a wide variety of items in my store. I hope you utilize my projects and activities to make your life and your teaching life a little easier.
