TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my seventh year of teaching Social Studies. I have taught both High School and Middle School grades. My experience has allowed me to become more knowledgeable in many different Social Studies content areas and time periods.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I prefer a project based learning environment in which students complete hands-on tasks that require deep thinking, time, and effort.

Teaching is a passion of mine that I have had since I can remember. I enjoy teaching students of all ages. I have also been extensively involved in student activities and athletics as well. I believe that teachers are one of the biggest resources for our students today. I want to share some of the resources that I have created and used with students in my classroom.
