I believe it is important to EDUCATE students in a positive, caring and nurturing classroom environment where they can EXPLORE and learning is the focus. I feel that when teachers are organized, prepared, and consistent, they can provide engaging activities which EMPOWER students with the building blocks to reach high levels of achievement. Building relationships, remaining enthusiastic and keeping the positive energy going is an important goal for each day.
Throughout my career, I have devoted my time and heart to educating students in a Title I school in Texas. I have taught 1st through 5th grade students in both the classroom and small group settings. I also have had extensive experience as a Technology Teacher Advisor and an Instructional Coach that worked with PK through 5th grade teachers to provide professional development, improve instructional practices and increase student achievement.
