Inclusive practices has been the theme of my teaching career! I began as a classroom teacher for second and third grade in a building with a high level of students who are emerging bilingual.
After a few years, I switched gears and spent some time working as a learning specialist for K-5 students, with a focus on increasing student voice and raising status in the classroom.
Now I'm lucky enough to work with amazing classroom teachers and learning specialists as an Instructional Coach for special education!
