Kindness and social-emotional learning have been close to my heart for over a decade. While supporting students in small reading and writing groups, I saw how easily disconnection and conflict could take root when kindness and respect were missing. It was heartbreaking to watch kids struggle, not just with academics, but with friendships, emotions, and feeling like they belonged.
That’s what lit the fire in me. I became deeply passionate about helping children understand how their feelings and actions shape the way they connect with others. I truly believe that when we teach kindness and empathy, we create classrooms where bullying and exclusion lose their grip so every child feels safe, valued, and included.
For me, teaching kindness isn’t just important - it’s everything. It’s the foundation for confidence, connection, and the kind of social skills that help kids thrive not just in school, but in life.

Teaching style
Kindness is a simple yet powerful way to build connection and create a classroom vibe where kids feel seen and supported. It’s one of the most effective tools we have for reducing anti-social behavior, and when paired with SEL and mindfulness, it becomes a gentle but mighty force for classroom management.
I pour a lot of love into every resource I create. I want kids to feel that spark, that rush of feel-good emotions that kindness brings, and be inspired to pass it on. My activities are playful and engaging, but they’re also packed with meaningful learning. A coloring page isn’t just coloring. It’s an affirmation, a motor skill moment, and a mindful pause all in one.
