This is a great dissection lab for middle school life science students. The lab introduces students to basic human anatomy vocab terms, as well as structure and function of basic earthworm organs. It is a great resource to use for units on invertebrates, animals, and animal behavior. The lab also comes with links to helpful dissection videos to help prep students for the lab and procedures they will be using in the lab.

A rubric for a Rube Goldberg simple machines project.

This is a great lab to do with middle school Earth Science students who are learning about the rock cycle. This is a common lab that can be used to show the different steps of the rock cycle and the lab sheet walks students thoroughly through each step. Students will create sedimentary, igneous, and metamorphic rock using their Starbursts. Preparation is fairly easy for this lab as well.

This product is great for middle school physical science students who are studying forces and motion. This lab specifically focuses on the concept of projectile motion, and how the force of gravity affects the flight of objects. It is also a fun STEM challenge that allows students to think critically about the principles of engineering and design.

This is a great STEM challenge for middle school students who are studying water pollution. I used this resource in a unit on Canada and pollutants in the Great Lakes. Students are given limited materials and must filter out pollutants from a dirty water sample.

Great project for middle school earth science students learning about the solar system. Students research one of the planets of the solar system and create a presentation based on their research in which they are trying to "sell" the planet to someone.

This product contains 25 Google slides (which I downloaded as a PDF and then printed) of major events from United States history. Each slide contains 3 events from the earliest Americans to the present day. I laminated each page and hung the timeline on my classroom wall. It looks great!

This bundle is great for middle school earth science students. The product comes with an interactive notebook file that students can use to take notes. There is a mix of scaffolded notes as well as sections that require students to take their own notes. The product also comes with the corresponding PowerPoint slides that students can use to take notes.

Great review of Oregon Trail vocabulary terms. I use this to build vocab before my students complete a classroom simulation of the Oregon Trail. Includes a crossword puzzle, word search, as well as answer keys for both. The word bank for the word search includes the same words that will be used in the crossword puzzle.

This is a great resource for middle school Earth Science students learning about plate tectonics and earthquakes. This product pairs with my product "Plate Tectonics and Earthquakes Notes Slides." Students cut out and glue in the notes pages. They can then take notes from the slides.

This activity allows students to reflect on the weaknesses of the Articles of Confederation. Students will create a protest sign acting as a member of someone who participated in Shays's Rebellion.
