Shortly after moving to Fairbanks, Alaska in August of 2020 I was able to witness the Sandhill Crane migration as they stopped over at Creamer's Field Migratory Waterfowl Refuge. You could hear their prehistoric sounding calls for miles! I was so inspired by the experience that I had to theme this coloring page after them. I'm an illustrator and designer with a love of nature, animals, and travel. I create educational work for children’s books, websites, apps and other media with a focus on engaging and educating young audiences about the natural world. I currently live in Fairbanks, AK with my partner, two grumpy turtles, a pair of mischievous cats, and far more books than one person should own.
