Teaching style

I can best describe my teaching style as adaptive, interactive and collaborative. I have always enjoyed making modifications to accommodate my students varying abilities, interests and learning styles. It was important to me to design activities that allowed for my students' independence and success. Integrating reading, math, writing and motor skills with weekly science and social studies themes made my planning interesting and learning fun. Collaborating with my classroom's team of therapists (PT,OT,SLP) was of utmost importance in developing multisensory and interactive activities to guide my students towards their full potential.
