We are down to those last few days before Christmas! Students will enjoy coloring my Santa that I drew with a sharpie. They will also enjoy writing down what they hope Santa will bring for Christmas! This is my first Christmas drawing available here on TpT and I’ll have a different image each year. I teach art and my students will be coloring these too! Have a Merry Christmas everyone!

About the store

Experience

I have taught both high school and middle school art. I currently teach middle grades and offer painting classes on the weekends, during the summer and now online.

Teaching style

I was taught art by some amazing art teachers and I try to emulate them. Classroom management is essential but so is a daily smile and a sense of humor. When former students say they miss making art in my class it makes my day.

Awards & shining teacher moments

2016 Stanly County Fine Arts Educator of the Year, 2015 Teacher of the Year, WSMS My paintings were exhibited at the Hickory Museum of Art in 2006.

My own education history

MA Johns Hopkins University

Additional biographical information

While in the Marines I was required to teach other Marines how to qualify on the rifle range. I enjoyed the process of teaching and helping others improve. After college I combined my love of art and teaching. See art made by my students here...http://theartclassmuseum.blogspot.com/
