This is a fun dissection for students to learn more about structure and function. This works well with typical market squid that can be bought from grocery stores or markets. Students enjoy the opportunity to design a roller coaster using simple materials. This uses cardstock and tape. The design can be tested with a marble. Free templates can be found online to use to create the physical model. If materials are not available, there are free online websites to build a digital model.
