Students will learn how to navigate the first quadrant in the coordinate plane by simulating a game of golf! Students will roll dice to determine their movements to try and score as low as they can on each hole. They will learn how to report and calculate their scores relative to par. NFL Combine - Force of a Tackle - War Game - STEM Sports
Students will calculate the force NFL football players use to tackle an opponent using Newton’s Second Law in a war style game! The war cards contain actual statistics of popular NFL players from their NFL combine results. Students will learn how the mass and acceleration of each player effects the force of their tackle by comparing players with one similar statistic and comparing the difference in force.
