Greetings! I'm Stephanie Morris soon-to-be Hull! I’ve spent the last 25 years navigating the elementary music trenches, from teaching the tiniest humans in Kindermusik to surviving the humans-under-construction in middle school band. I’ve taught in Florida and Texas, launched new programs from empty rooms, and survived more programs than I can count. I’m just a teacher who has seen a lot and wants to share things I've created for my music hull that I know stick and my kids love — a place of serious academics and ridiculous joy!

Teaching style

I’m a firm believer that the most profound music learning happens when relationships are built and serious academics are delivered with ridiculous joy. My resources are rooted in research-based pedagogy we all love—shoutout to Orff-Schulwerk and the Feierabend approach!

Awards & shining teacher moments

Over the years, I’ve managed to pick up a National Board Certification and was even named Teacher of the Year once. I’ve also spent time writing district curriculum and assessments and presenting research and a clinic at Texas Music Educators' Conference.

My own education history

I’m a Florida State University Music Education double-alum (Go Noles!) and a self-proclaimed "certification collector" because I love finding new ways to reach kids. Along with my degrees, I’m trained in First Steps in Music, Conversational Solfege, Orff-Schulwerk and the Modern Band method.
