Hello! Thank you for coming to my online shop :) I have worked with diverse populations including ELL students and a wide variety of students with special needs. Currently, I am a resource room teacher for 1st-4th graders and a teacher of Study Skills for 10th and 11th graders.
I have learned so much from my experiences and from other amazing teachers so far! My favorite model for teaching is gradual release. I love creating engaging and fun activities for my students. Especially for special education students, it is very important to have differentiation and engaging supports in every lesson. I also value the importance of incorporating social-emotional learning into the time that I have with my students. For all ages I believe it is helpful to teach some yoga, meditation, and journaling skills.
