Prefer to work collaboratively with like minded teammates Strive toward highly engaging and structured classroom environment I strive to be a mixture of teaching styles; demonstrator, coach, authority, and facilitator. I like for my classroom to focus on real world problem solving and issues. I like to encourage a more constructivism in my classroom and encourage students to make meaning and develop ideas from what we learn.

I spent 20 years teaching in a struggling, low socio-economic school. Now I work at the opposite end of the spectrum at a fundamental elementary school. Although there are frustrations with the educational system itself, on the day to day, I love what I do!
