Additional biographical information
We are a father, daughter design team that work together to create beautiful, educational clip art. I (Nika Pieterse) am a qualified elementary school teacher, a wife, and a dog mom. I have experience in grades K to 2, but I’ve spent most of my time in my 3rd-grade classroom.
My father (Pieter Els) is a loving husband, awesome dad to an artistic daughter, and sporty son, an (too) eager to be grandfather and owner of 4 Yorkies! He is a qualified graphic designer with 30 years of experience. He spent 15 of those years designing and working in adult education as a facilitator, learning material developer, learning aid designer, assessor, and researcher.
His experience and skills combined with mine give teachers a SurferKids ClipArt and Freebies Paradise on TPT to use in classrooms, learning, and teaching experiences.
