Students are guided through taking an online Holland Interest Inventory. Once they have their code, they will use the online resource to research a list of careers related to their code; and then further research 3 careers listed. This activity coordinates with the slideshow unit Careers Unit 3 Planning that is available for purchase separately.

This Slideshow covers the final unit in my Entrepreneurship class. Learning Targets: I can describe the daily activities of a business owner and ties previous unit Learning Targets to the coordinating project available for purchase separately of "Business Plan" where students make all the decisions required of starting up a business. This online Google Doc assignment allows students the opportunities to define and list the advantages and disadvantages of different types of business ownership (Sole Proprietorship, Partnership, Corporation and Franchise). Students can learn the correct finger placement for typing by color filling the keyboard keys to match the finger that is responsible for keying it. This is a Google Slide so coloring can be completed online no need for markers or colored pencils.

Learning Target: I can explore career opportunities. This online assignment allows students the opportunity to use the provided internet sites to research careers. There are 8 parts total which cover 2 clusters each so all 16 clusters are covered in this bundle. I split them up so that they could be assigned over the course of the semester, the timing of the assignments are coordinated with the 3 Google Slideshow units that are for sale separately.

This unit is designed for grades 7-9 with the learning targets: I can describe the importance of choosing a good product; I know what you need to consider when setting a price, deciding on a location, and different ways to promote.
