With a career spanning 34 years, the majority of which has been dedicated to instructing in inner-city elementary schools and secondary classrooms, I have had the privilege of sharing my expertise in vocal music education. Additionally, I attained a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction, leading to my tenure as an evening educator at the local University.
A pivotal decision led me to relocate to an island in the South Pacific where I undertook a transformative teaching role that allowed me to rejuvenate my passion for education. This change presented me with the opportunity to develop specialized curricula and indulge in the tranquil oceanic environment during leisure hours. Recognizing the importance of versatility in accommodating a diverse student body, I pursued an ESL certification to further enhance my pedagogical skill set.
Upon returning to my roots, I chose to contribute to the educational landscape by joining the teaching faculty at Job Corps. This transition, although distinct from my previous ventures, has proven to be deeply gratifying and enriching.
