I teach a 3-4 year-old preschool class 4 mornings a week, and a Prekindergarten class 5 afternoons a week at an amazing Catholic school in Salt Lake City. I'm going on my 5th year of teaching. Each year I find new things to do and it just keeps getting better!
I have a lot of energy and I teach mostly 3-5 year-olds, so I tend to use a lot of movement and do hands-on activities. I enjoy bringing books and stories to life for my students through plays, puppets, felt boards, story bags, etc. Preschool and pre-k math involves a lot of movement and exploration within fun themes and games. Art is all about glitter, glue, paint, and really fun and messy process art. I love teaching early childhood because I can think BIG and be very creative!
far too many to mention lol!
