This worksheet is used alongside the reading of "The Koala Who Could" by Rachel Bright. It is a great way to encourage students to have a growth mindset toward their learning. 5 Different Colours to choose from! - Blue, Orange, Purple, Green and Pink. These are to help remind students where they needs to be placing their letters when using DOTTED THIRDS. I was playing this maths game with my students recently and thought I should make up a reusable template for the students to use. I call the game 'Decimal Demolition'. Here is how it works: -Students write a decimal number of their choice on the board. -Then they roll a dice (or pick playing cards) and subtract the number they get from any of the place value columns. -The aim is to ‘demolish’ their number down to zero.
