Teaching Real World Connections

Connect ratios to the real world by having students determine which country produces more waste. Students will complete ratio tables for the United States and Japan and then graph the ratios. Suggestions for differentiation and sentence frames for ELD or SPED included! Use this to instruct whole class, as an independent/homework assignment, or have students complete it in groups or pairs.
