Experience

I have 8 years of experience teaching 6th grade. I've taught all subjects including ELD. Most of my products are for a 6th grade audience but could work for advanced 5th graders or 7th and 8th graders that need a refresh.

Teaching style

I create lessons and materials that relate to the real world. Students are always more engaged when they know the lesson ties to real life. I also try to incorporate scaffolds for all learners to be successful.

My own education history

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University and a Master's Degree is Humane Education from the Institute for Humane Education and Valparaiso University.
