Teaching style

Learning should be fun and we work hard to make sure our activities and learning objectives are appealing to our students. Our students chose to work with us because they know we will make learning fun and we will support them through the learning process in the ways they need us to. We integrate the science of learning into our instruction. We use the principles of applied behavior analysis to understand how we can better arrange the learning environment to meet our students where they are and guide them to success using motivation and meaningful learning opportunities. "We will take you where you are, and we will teach you. And the extent to which you fail is our failure, not yours. We will not cop out by saying, 'He can't learn.' Rather, we will say, 'I failed to teach him.' So I better take a good look at what I did and try to figure out a better way." - Siegfried Engelmann
