Teaching style
I like my lessons to be active and versatile and as authentic as possible in nature. I encourage speaking and get students to do a lot of creative writing so they become actively involved in their learning. I like to give my students options to choose from and have them prepare work that their fellow students must then complete. And most of all I love getting my students to read a lot.
My own education history
I got my Bachelor's degree in English Language and Culture in 2008, followed by a Master's degree in American History in 2011 and a second Master's degree in ESL Education in 2014, all from the University of Amsterdam.
Additional biographical information
I live in Amsterdam with my boyfriend. I enjoy reading and writing, as well as traveling as often as I can.
