I currently teach 6th grade at an entrepreneurial focused charter school. I have also taught 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade. The 2015-2016 school year will be my fifth year teaching.
I teach with a student-centered approach. I love having students work collaboratively on projects, hands-on experiments, research, and more. Every lesson should have an engagement piece that hooks students, leaving them wanting to know more. I cannot imagine doing anything else!
I graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in elementary education in 2011. I am certified to teach K-8.
