As of January 2026, we are now Reach All Readers (formerly The Measured Mom). A few years ago I began offering a membership for Prek-3rd grade educators, now called Reach All Readers Plus.

Teaching style

I was a balanced literacy educator until around 2019, when I learned about the science of reading. I continue to study the research and strive to make resources that are science of reading based. I have a weekly structured literacy podcast called Reach All Readers.

Awards & shining teacher moments

My popular website <a href="http://www.reachallreaders.com/"><strong> website</strong></a> receives about a half a million pageviews a month.

My own education history

I earned my Bachelor's in Education in 1999. In 2005 I earned my Master's in Education. In 2022 I was Orton-Gillingham certified, and later that same year I received my Science of Reading graduate certificate from Mount St. Joseph University. I am currently enrolled in the PhD in Literacy program at MTSU.
