Escape Room: Introduction to Cooking
This is a Google Form - Escape Room on the Introduction to Cooking. Students will navigate through the 'kitchen' to work on organization and understanding parts of a recipe before completing the project: baked brownie. This can be used as an ice breaker, an end of class activity or part of your first class.
6th - 10th
Introduction: Food Basics Workbook
A short introduction booklet for food basics normally provided as an handout on the first day of Foods class. The booklet focuses on food handling and basic rules in the kitchen. The last page is a short worksheet that students are able to work together and then, we would go over the answers together.
