I use this word wall booklet for students to have their own words. Although I absolutely love the interaction they have with my classroom's word wall (pulling words from the velcro dots and putting them back together), I think that the students also appreciate having their own. It helps them develop vocabulary skills, spell correctly and use it for many years to come. I typically print in color -one side only (in case they need more space they use the empty page). This is how I use this word wall in my classroom: I put about 8 Velcro dots in each letter. I printed words, laminated and cut them. I added the other side of the Velcro dots. Students use this as a resource to spell while they are writing their stories. I also have a Word Wall notebook for them. Once a week or every two weeks, we dedicate some time to add words to this notebook. The notebook is available at my store. Just send it to the printer and let them bind as a booklets for you.

This document was created with the idea of teaching students the features of a fiction story. All you have to do is print. The way I use it is I make a copy on Power Point Presentation by taking a picture of each page and pasting it into the presentation.
