A 15-20 minute lesson emphasizing the importance of being prepared for class. This can be delivered to students at the beginning of the school year. PBIS resource.
Print the cards onto colored card stock and cut. Distribute to each student and have them play Quiz, Quiz, Trade. In pairs, player A, quizzes, Player B. If either student struggles, have them coach the student to help them better understand. Once both students have quizzed each other, have them swap cards and go find another student to quiz and trade with. The answer sheet can be used if you'd like to post the cards around the room as a gallery walk activity.

These activities are recommended during Homeroom The document contains 4 days of circle topics and/or activities. Tuesday's lesson is on establishing norms with students when holding a circle. Wednesday's lesson gives students scenarios and a chance to reflect. Thursday's lesson discusses how to persevere. Lastly, on Friday, students will be asked to describe which superhero they would be and which traits would they possess.
This is a simple outline of my interactive notebook I use with my students. Students will work with a partner. The answers for each student's paper should match. If they do not match, students assist each other to correct any mistakes.
Extra practice with Order of Operations (PEMDAS), placing parentheses in the correct area of each expression.
