Color Coded Calendar
This calendar has days organized by color to help children with the abstract idea of days. This is also a great calendar for a foreign language classroom to review dates, day of the week, colors, numbers, etc. Sunday is the "red day," Monday is the "orange day," Tuesday is the "blue day," etc. Each of the seven colors has number 1-31 as the dates could be any one of the 7 days of the week in any given month.
