This resource supports the Desmos 7th grade lessons on positive and negative numbers. The strategy pushes students to see adding and subtracting as a starting point with a change (adding and removing items), and the value of the items as positive or negative, floats or anchors. I printed this as a visual anchor and included it as a reference in my student handout.

For those using EnVision, there is a small note on each card to show what lesson this word is introduced. We use these vocabulary cards on our math word wall, but they could easily be cut apart to use as a matching game or be sent home with students at the beginning of each new unit. Enjoy this freebie!
