The colorful columns remain the same all the way through to help students recognize the patterns numbers follow as the increase by tens and hundreds. I would recommend copying these in color, laminating them, and then attaching them in a manor that allows students to see the entire chart.

I blew this up into a 18 by 24 poster for my classroom. I think it's so important to introduce this concept in kinder because kids have a lot of trouble with place value on math tests.
