A chance for students to practice converting all fractions with a denominator from 2-10. Using a calculator or long division. Allows an opportunity to review that fractions represent division as well as repeating decimals (thirds, sixths, and ninths) and stopping at a specific place value (sevenths). Another example of intentionality with students being exposed to numerical patterns.
